Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Finance Department announced the joining of Sharjah Old Cars Club (SOCC) to the “Tahseel” digital payment system platform.
This comes in continuation of its role in promoting the digital transformation strategy in Sharjah, its keenness to provide distinguished services to different government and private sectors, and to complete digital transactions in the best and most accurate manner, keeping abreast of global developments.
The system’s inauguration ceremony was held at the club’s headquarters in the presence of Dr. Mohammed bin Butti Al Hajri, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of SOCC; Saud Ali Al Matroushi, Member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Financial and Administrative Affairs Committee; Huda Al Yassi, Director of the Financial System Department in Sharjah Finance Department; May Sahoh, Director of Accounts Department; and a number of officials from both sides.
In light of the joining, SOCC customers will be able to obtain all the services provided by the club through the “Tahseel” platform, as 26 approved fees have been added to the club, and can now be collected through the approved payment channels in the “Tahseel” platform located in different emirates of the UAE.
On this occasion, Huda Al Yasi said that there is a remarkable global and local trend, emanating from the great customer awareness of the importance of benefiting from digital services that save effort, time and money and achieve successful completion of transactions, in addition to enhancing the efficiency of financial procedures in government entities in accordance with the vision and directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, by providing a work environment that guarantees success and financial excellence.
Huda Al Yasi added that Sharjah Finance Department is pleased to record a new achievement with the joining of SOCC to “Tahseel” platform, which is a step that highlights the volume of digital services provided by the department to customers through the smart system “Tahseel."
The system will contribute to improving the experience of club members and keep abreast of technological developments in the field of digital payment.
Dr. Mohammed bin Butti Al Hajri said that the step comes as part of SOCC vision aimed at improving the experience of the club's customers and keeping abreast of technological developments in the field of digital payment, whereas the transition to the digital payment system has become an urgent necessity to provide ease and speed in the collection procedures, and SOCC is now considered one of the leading sports clubs in the region that rely on advanced technical system.
Saud Ali Al Matrooshi said that SOCC is always keen to provide a distinctive and comfortable experience for customers, and providing advanced payment methods is an essential part of this aspiration. Through the digital payment system, SOCC will provide members with a convenient and safe way to pay fees and subscriptions, while ensuring speed and ease in the collection process.
