Enhancing participants' leadership skills.
The leadership workshop, organized by Sharjah Islamic Bank's Learning and Development Department in collaboration with the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah, focused on enhancing participant ' leadership skills.
The workshop took place at Sharjah Islamic Bank’s academy building. It covered nine major topics, such as defining leader and leadership, demonstrating importance of leadership, distinguishing between management and leadership, shaping the leader ("Be a leader"), self-confidence skills, qualities of a successful leader, leadership levels, and art of leadership.
Participants actively engaged in practical exercises to complement the theoretical aspects, aiming to enhance the concept of optimal leadership, especially for work teams. Throughout the workshop, the presenter, Khalaf Abdllah, Group Chief Internal Auditor of Sharjah Islamic Bank, answered questions and encouraged contributions that enriched the workshop content.
The workshop contributed to strengthening partnerships between the public and private sectors.

Strengthening Partnership between Supreme Council for Family Affairs and the SIB
Dr Khawla Abdul Rahman Al Mulla, Chairperson of the Family Affairs Authority in Sharjah, praised the training workshops for enhancing the partnership between the Council and SIB. She said they present opportunities for employees to develop their skills and capabilities and acquire new knowledge and skills to increase their work efficiency. The workshops have strengthened their leadership skills and comprehensively answered all their questions. She stressed the necessity of initiatives that help build strong links between the public and private sectors while offering employees the best training and educational opportunities. Dr Khawla expressed the Council's enthusiasm for more such beneficial training opportunities in the future.
Participants appreciated the workshop for fulfilling their future aspirations and positively impacting performance levels. The exchange of ideas and aspirations for mutual growth between employees of Sharjah government departments and SIB created a fruitful and open dialogue, enhancing overall performance levels in their respective institutions.
