The recognition took place at an event where the children shared their experiences, the paths they pursued, and the challenges they conquered during the programme. It was evident that the programme played a vital role in instilling an appreciation for books and reading while honing their cognitive abilities. Parents, too, praised the programme for its positive impact on their children's personalities.
The programme encompasses three phases: visual, auditory, and experimental.
Throughout the second quarter, the children were accompanied by Hamda Al-Balushi, the author of "A Day with My Grandfather." One of the practical challenges for the participants was to document their assigned tasks and share them on social media, encouraging them to create meaningful content. Another engaging book, "Four Corners" by Meitha Al-Khayat, led the participants through an exciting journey of solving a cake box theft. By asking questions, seeking evidence, and understanding fingerprint types, the young participants demonstrated their problem-solving skills. This experience was enriched with geographical and cultural insights into the UAE environment, accompanied by intriguing puzzle-solving activities.
