The system was developed by the Government Communication Office, the Institutional Development Office, and organisational units within the department, as part of an integrated strategy. This framework aims to establish clear and sustainable institutional cooperation relationships, enhance organisational performance, and build strategic partnerships with various stakeholders to achieve shared goals and maximize societal impact.
On this occasion, His Excellency Ahmed Ibrahim Al Meel, Chairman of the Social Services Department, expressed pride in this new accomplishment, adding it to the department’s growing record of success. He stated:
"Receiving this international certification reaffirms our ongoing commitment to improving our services and strengthening partnerships with various entities for the benefit of individuals and the community at large."
He added: "We are dedicated to building effective institutional partnerships based on cooperation and transparency, continuously developing them in alignment with sustainable development goals and community well-being. Alya Al-Souqi, Acting Director of the Government Communication Office at the department, stated: We are proud of the continued efforts made by our team in developing the partnership management system according to the highest international standards, which played a vital role in securing the ISO 44001:2017 certification. This achievement reflects our deep commitment to fostering a culture of sustainable institutional partnerships, transparency, and accountability throughout all phases of work."
She emphasised the department’s ongoing commitment to strengthening communication and coordination mechanisms with partners to achieve shared objectives and amplify positive impact in society, in line with the department’s vision and strategic plans for long-term sustainability.
His Excellency the Chairman further explained that the department adopts a methodology based on impact, efficiency, and cooperation, building trust among all stakeholders. These partnerships are grounded in fruitful collaboration that boosts institutional performance and ensures long-term mutual benefits and sustainability.
The Chairman affirmed that effective partnership policies require clearly defined relationships through detailed agreements that specify roles and responsibilities. These agreements are regularly reviewed to ensure ongoing compliance with regulations.
