Sharjah24: The Al Kharous Suburb Council, part of the Districts and Villages Affairs Department, initiated an effort to strengthen familial relationships among residents in various neighbourhoods of the suburb by providing 100 dishes of food to the people.
This initiative is one of the aspects of the customs and traditions inherited from ancestors in the UAE, based on the practice of sharing food among families and neighbours. The council named this initiative "Al Ma'aun," which affirms the local significance of this inherited name and symbolises the tradition of sharing food among community members.
The Chairman of the Council of Al Kharous Suburb, His Excellency Jum’a Al Maghni, accompanied by council members and several council employees and residents, distributed the food dishes to families after the afternoon prayer.
