Sharjah24: On the sidelines of the “Haq-Al-Laila” celebrations, Juma'a Al Hamoudi, Chairman of the Al Kharous Suburb Council, has highlighted the Council's keenness to celebrate this special occasion that enhances community cohesion, with various cultural activities.
Al Kharous Suburb Council of the Department of Suburbs and Villages Affairs organised a mass celebration on the occasion of the night of the middle of Sha'ban, under the slogan " Haq-Al-Laila ", in Al Kharous Park, in cooperation with a number of departments and institutions.
Juma'a Al Hamoudi said that a large number of departments and institutions participated in organising the event, including the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, the Municipality of Al Dhaid, the Child Center in both Al Dhaid and Dibba Al Hisn, and the Department of Social Services, Dibba Al Hisn Ladies Club and other institutions.
Al Hamoudi explained that the celebration attracted a large crowd of residents of the suburb, accompanied by their children, and included many diverse activities aimed at spreading joy in the hearts of children, promoting the heritage and consolidating popular customs and traditions.
He concluded that the celebration included a distinguished participation of productive families, in addition to organising recreational, sports and cultural competitions, and many workshops for children.
