Abdullah Sultan bin Khadim, Executive Director of the Sharjah Charity International, explained that the SCI used to organise this initiative on the day of Arafah every year, with the aim of highlighting the values of solidarity among the groups of society, adding that the initiative included the distribution of 15,000 integrated meals, which include a variety of foods to meet the needs of target individuals.
Bin Khadim indicated that the meals were provided, in coordination with a number of kitchens, which prepared and packaged the meals with great care and attention, to ensure a healthy and comfortable dining experience for the beneficiaries, and stressed that the initiative reflects the spirit of solidarity and compassion that characterises the UAE community.
