Sharjah24: As part of the "Finance Ambassadors" programme, Sharjah's Central Finance Department (SCFD) employees received sign language training. The objective of the training is to develop staff abilities and better serve the deaf community.
Employees are encouraged to use their talents, experiences, and abilities to represent the department both internally and publicly. The "Empowerment Ambassador" team had training on Sharjah empowerment trends.
This stage allows staff to deliver the best services possible to people with hearing problems, promote awareness of their quality, instruct them on how to utilise them, and keep them up-to-date on the newest advancements in connected services.
In Sharjah's Central Finance Department, Latifa Al Mazmi, Head of Training and Development and Head of the Empowerment Ambassador Team, emphasised the department's commitment to keeping up with improvements in all disciplines and expanding its employees' ability to manage various scenarios.
The major goal of the department is to care for people with disabilities while honouring their position in society. The "Empowerment Ambassador" team offered the sign language curriculum as part of their ongoing humanitarian efforts to demonstrate our country's concern for everyone.
Emirati sign language and hearing-impaired communication skills were taught as part of the programme. Employees at Sharjah Central Finance Department praised this vital effort, which benefits beyond the department's services and aids in getting to know and integrating this section into society.
