SCI honours its sponsors, charitable partners

The event took place at the Sharjah Cultural Palace and was attended by several department and institution heads, media representatives, as well as a group of SCI officials and employees.

In his opening speech, His Excellency Dr. Yaqoub Al Nuaimi, a board member of the SCI expressed heartfelt gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for his support of the charitable work in the Emirate. He also thanked Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, the sponsor of the event. 

He said, "The SCI has achieved many accomplishments, with the primary driving force being the efforts of our partners. These unprecedented achievements in total reached 377 million dirhams throughout the past year, resulting in numerous humanitarian works, direct aid programmes, and urgent relief efforts that met the needs of over a million beneficiaries inside and outside the country."

He emphasised that these programmes focused on the sustainability of charitable work, a concept targeted through the contributions of philanthropists and charitable partners. The goal is to change the concept of giving, transforming it into a tangible and significant change in the lives of beneficiaries.
 
Then a documentary film was presented, which included an introduction to the journey of the SCI and its diverse projects, as well as the significant impact achieved by those charitable programmes implemented inside and outside the country. This film resonated with the audience, who praised the influential role played by the SCI in serving the needy inside and outside the country. 

The ceremony concluded with an invitation from Sheikh Saqr bin Mohammed bin Khalid Al Qasimi, and Abdullah Sultan bin Khadem, the Executive Director of the SCI, to honour the partners and sponsors as a token of appreciation for their extensive support in advancing the charitable work of the SCI.
