SCI distributes Zakat al-Fitr to needy families

Sharjah24: The Sharjah Charity International distributed Zakat al-Fitr, an obligatory alms paid by all Muslims at the end of Ramadan, to the needy families registered in the SCI, during the 28th and 29th of Ramadan.

130,000 fitrahs (another name for Zakat al-Fitr) will be distributed in the last two days of Ramadan to 13,000 families registered with SCI, according to Abdullah bin Khadim, Executive Director of SCI, confirmed in exclusive statements to "Sharjah 24".
