Sharjah24: The Sharjah Charity International (SCI) has successfully completed the distribution of Eid clothing to its registered beneficiaries across its main and sub-administrations in Bataeh, Madam, Al Thaid, Kalba, Khorfakkan, and Dibba Al-Hisn.
According to Abdullah Sultan Bin Khadem, the Executive Director, the Eid clothing project is part of the Ramadan campaign, where the Society provides new clothes to all eligible family members, in addition to ready-made clothing vouchers. He further explained that the campaign's supreme committee has allocated two million AED to provide clothes for 7,000 beneficiaries from low-income families, enabling them to share the joy of Eid.

The distribution process was carried out according to a precise mechanism, targeting the cases registered in the Society's records and classifying each case based on its needs and the number of family members. This ensured that the appropriate assistance was provided to each family to guarantee their sense of happiness and joy during the Eid celebrations, like the rest of their peers in society.

Bin Khadem emphasized that the Eid clothing project benefits all members of society, embodying social solidarity in its highest form between the less fortunate and the kind-hearted donors. The donors put their charitable contributions into the Society's collection boxes to distribute to the eligible beneficiaries, enabling them to purchase new clothes to wear during the Eid days and share the joy and happiness of the occasion with the entire community. He expressed his deep gratitude to the donors for their support, which enabled the Society to distribute the project's gifts on a wider scale than originally planned since the beginning of the Ramadan campaign.
