Sharjah 24: His Excellency Rawan Jumabek, Consul General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, emphasised that the Holy Quran Academy in Sharjah represents a scholarly hub and a global cultural beacon for the Quran and its sciences.
During his visit to the academy, Dr. Faisal Al Suwaidi, Director of the Museum Department, warmly received him.
Jumabek was acquainted with rare manuscripts and valuable treasures that reflect Islamic civilisation. He also explored the radio and television studios before concluding the visit with a screening of a documentary depicting the history of the Quran.
The Consul General of the Republic of Kazakhstan expressed deep admiration for the remarkable efforts exerted by the academy to preserve the heritage of the Quran and enhance knowledge related to its sciences. He extended his gratitude and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for his profound interest in the Quran and his promotion of Islamic values.
Jumabek affirmed that these blessed endeavours are the result of His Highness' wise vision and generous care in building individuals based on the noble principles of Islamic Sharia and the guidance of the Quran.
He added, "The Holy Quran Academy is a great global achievement, and this visit aims at enhancing cultural and religious ties between Kazakhstan and Sharjah, in particular, and the United Arab Emirates in general.”
