Several members of the Federal National Council, as well as the council's Second Deputy Speaker, Naima Al-Sharhan, were present at the session.
The session was held as part of the "Join Us to Prevent It" campaign, which was launched by the Ministry of the Interior and the Sharjah Police to counteract drug-related messaging and educate the public on the need to prevent drug abuse.
The campaign kicked off last Thursday in Sharjah's Zahia City Centre and will run through the 10th of June.
Major General Saif Al-Zari Al-Shamsi reaffirmed the Sharjah Police's dedication to assisting with nationwide measures to combat drug abuse, stop drug smuggling, and curb drug distribution.
At the end of the session, Major General Saif Al-Zari Al-Shamsi honoured Naima Al-Sharhan and the members of the Federal National Council for their active participation in the dialogue session.
