Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Department of Agriculture and Livestock (SDAL) and Expo Centre Sharjah signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to strengthen the strategic partnership between the two sides in the field of specialised exhibitions and conferences, and to adopt the best modern practices in supporting the programmes offered by the department, exchanging experiences, and developing marketing activities that would contribute to supporting agricultural activities and livestock.
The agreement, which took place in the department's headquarters, was signed by Dr. Khalifa Musabah Al Tunaiji, Chairman of the Department of Agriculture and Livestock, and Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of the Expo Centre Sharjah, in the presence of a number of department directors and heads of departments from both sides.
The MoU provides for building effective and fruitful partnership relations that serve both parties in areas of common interest, exchanging expertise and experiences, and enhancing cooperation in terms of activities, events, conferences and forums, with the aim of introducing the department’s efforts in achieving sustainable agricultural development, and highlighting its role in developing and implementing plans, programmes and projects related to the development of agricultural and livestock wealth, and conducting studies, research and experiments related to it, in addition to its efforts in terms of promoting the adoption of modern technology and sustainable agricultural practices.
