Sharjah24: The Sharjah Aquarium's Secretary, Rashid Juma Al Shamsi, remarked that the turtle release program coincides with World Turtle Day, pointing out that Sharjah Aquarium released 8 endangered turtles.
This global project focuses on endangered turtle species, emphasising the need for their preservation and care.
Rashid Al Shamsi confirmed in exclusive statements to "Sharjah 24" that the turtles released to return to marine life included eight different types of turtles, such as green turtles and Hawksbill Sea turtles, who were rehabilitated in the Sharjah Aquarium after suffering an injury or illness.
