Start of International School Theatre Festivals final round

Sharjah 24: At the tenth session of the Sharjah School Theatre Festival, Fawaghi Al Fardan, Events Officer in the Theater Department at the Department of Culture, and a member of the Media Committee, explained that the final round of performances included five from the city of Sharjah, five from the Central Region, five from the Eastern Region, three from the first episode, six from the second episode, and six more from secondary school.

When asked about where the opening and closing ceremonies will take place, Al Fardan told "Sharjah 24" that the Culture Palace Theatre and the Sharjah Institute of Theatrical Arts would both play host.

She continued by saying that the schools are competing for awards including best acting, best directing, best authoring, the special jury award, best integrated theatrical performance, best emotive and flamboyant performance, and best collective performance.
