The forum aims to present the best practices of volunteer training and qualification programmes, guide volunteers to benefit from the available training and qualification programs, and identify opportunities and challenges facing the process of empowering and qualifying volunteers.
Building on this, Dr. Jassim Al Hammadi Secretary General of the Sharjah Award for Voluntary Work confirmed that the Volunteer Forum is one of a series of events organised by the "Award" to instill, embody and disseminate the values of volunteer work at the societal and institutional level, as well as the forum enhances awareness and enriches knowledge.
In turn, Fatima Musa Al Balushi, Executive Director of the Award and Chairman of the Organising Committee, declared that 7 government and private agencies and voluntary teams participate in the forum to address 3 meaningful sessions.
