Sharjah24: The Mleiha Sports Club's male and female athletes earned a large number of medals as a result of their participation in the Federation Cup of Taekwondo.
The club's male and female players put on strong performances and displayed skill during the championship taekwondo competitions to win eight coloured medals.
In the male field, the players of Mleiha Club won 2 medals, including a silver and a bronze, through the player Hassan Rashid Al Ketbi after winning the silver medal in the youth category, and Sultan Bassem Al Naqbi for winning the bronze medal in the youth category.
In the female category, Mariam Ismail Rashid won bronze in the Zaharat category, Majida Rashid Al Ketbi won gold in the Zaharat category, Aisha Abdullah Ali Rashid bronze for junior women, Reem Abdullah Ali Rashid silver for junior women, Sheikha Rashid Al Ketbi won gold for junior women, and Sarah Rashid Al Ketbi won gold for women.
Hamad bin Tamim Al Ketbi, a member of the Board of Directors of the Mleiha Club and Chairman of the Individual Games Committee, praised the levels of male and female players of all ages and the performances they made, and it was possible to reflect the level of training and their ability to compete and rise to the coronation, in light of the club’s board of directors’ keenness to qualify male and female national players to compete and succeed.
