Sharjah 24: The Central Region Parents Council organised Iftar Initiative in line with Zayed Humanitarian Day, which falls on the 19th of Ramadan every year, and to promote the values of giving and humanitarian work established by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
The initiative included distributing meals to the workers of Al Dhaid Municipality in the council building in Al Dhaid.
His Excellency Rashid Al Mahyan, Chairman of the Central Region Parents Council, in the presence of Dr. Saeed Balith Al Tunaiji, Member of the Council, and Suhail Al Kaabi, Member of the Council, was keen to start distributing meals, which reflects the spirit of giving that the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, instilled in the hearts of the people of the UAE.
