Sharjah 24: Dr. Mohammed Safi Al-Mustaghanmi, the scientific director of the "Rhetorical Interpretation Encyclopedia", affirmed that the encyclopedia launched by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, is a significant achievement in the study of the vocabulary and verses of the Holy Quran. The first nine volumes were released last Saturday, aiming to help readers understand the rhetorical styles employed in the Quranic text, deepen their comprehension of the verses' meanings, and appreciate the Quranic wording's aesthetic beauty.
The scientific committee meeting of the encyclopedia project sponsored by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, announced the project's management by the "Sharjah Research Institute for Holy Quran."

During the meeting held at the Sharjah Academy of Arabic Language's library, the committee discussed the working map that guides the reviewers, research teams, and contributors in the preparation of the encyclopedia. They emphasised the importance of unifying the scientific standards and consolidating the methodological approach that frames the work, in order to complete the remaining parts of the encyclopedia. The ultimate goal is to include all chapters of the Holy Quran within a rhetorical interpretation methodology that aims to offer a new reference work for Quranic studies and interpretations.
During the meeting, Dr. Imhamed Safi Mustghanmi highlighted that the scientific committee of the "Encyclopedia of Rhetorical Interpretation" project aims to create a valuable addition to books and encyclopedias of interpretation. This will provide researchers and students with the opportunity to analyze Quranic verses in an accurate and proficient manner. The encyclopedia will enable readers to understand the message that the Quran carries for all of humanity by linking the occasion of the descent of the surah or verse with its overall meaning. Additionally, it will provide a brief explanation of Quranic words, while considering the differences in their lexical meanings and phonetic similarities with the help of reference books on interpretation and rhetoric.

The scientific committee of the encyclopedia project reviewed a set of standards and guidelines that they have approved as a work method. They commended the scholars of rhetoric, interpretation, and experts in analyzing the Quranic text who work on the project. The committee members presented their opinions and ideas about what the reader and researcher in the modern era expect from the "Encyclopedia of Rhetorical Interpretation."

The "Encyclopedia of Rhetorical Interpretation" project has reached 9 volumes, each consisting of 800 pages, containing the interpretation of the surahs from the opening chapter of the Quran to verse 106 of Surah Al-Ma'idah. The studies and research department at the Holy Quran Complex in Sharjah, under the scientific supervision of the Arabic Language Academy in Sharjah, is continuing work on the encyclopedia to include the entire Quran.

The unique encyclopedia project, led by a scientific committee of elite scholars and Quranic specialists, aims to facilitate Quranic studies by avoiding repetition and saving time for interested readers.
