Sultan bin Ahmed attends the Ramadan Majlis finale

The event's finale was held on Wednesday night at Al Majaz Amphitheatre.
The session was attended by: Egyptian artist Ahmed Zaher, British writer Shrabani Basu, author of the book "Victoria and Abdoul", and director Mohamed Diab.
The session discussed how the written material contributes to the success of cinematography production, the integration between literature, drama and scenarios, acting performance, and screen direction. The session also discussed the relationship between scriptwriting and other fundamentals, such as characters, photography, lighting, sound effects, dialogue, and decoration.

Participants hailed Sharjah's interest in culture, playwrights and artists, and the film forums and festivals for children and youth.
Ahmed Zaher addressed the actor's role's success by integrating the well-written text and strong directing.

He pointed to the importance of backing up production, which represents the key to Arabic cinematography's success.
Shrabani Basu talked about writing in general, noting that her childhood passion was writing, researching history, and exploring the world's cultures. She stressed the importance of knowledge and research for the writer to write.

She finds the idea of movie adaptations fascinating, seeing the embodiment of characters' written details, creating a drive to write more.
Mohamed Diab stressed the importance of the script in controlling and facilitating screen directing.

He addressed the importance of support and self-confidence to create international masterpieces, keeping in mind supporting production and young talents and supporting the decision-makers.
At the end of the session, Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi honoured the speakers.
After the honouring ceremony, Basu signed copies of her book "Victoria and Abdul" to the attendees.
The session was attended by Tariq Saeed Allay, Director General of the SGMB; Alia Al Suwaidi, Director of the SGMB; Hassan Yaqoub, Secretary General of the Sharjah Media Council; and several media professionals.
