The session was attended by: Egyptian artist Ahmed Zaher, British writer Shrabani Basu, author of the book "Victoria and Abdoul", and director Mohamed Diab.
The session discussed how the written material contributes to the success of cinematography production, the integration between literature, drama and scenarios, acting performance, and screen direction. The session also discussed the relationship between scriptwriting and other fundamentals, such as characters, photography, lighting, sound effects, dialogue, and decoration.
Ahmed Zaher addressed the actor's role's success by integrating the well-written text and strong directing.
Shrabani Basu talked about writing in general, noting that her childhood passion was writing, researching history, and exploring the world's cultures. She stressed the importance of knowledge and research for the writer to write.
Mohamed Diab stressed the importance of the script in controlling and facilitating screen directing.
At the end of the session, Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi honoured the speakers.
After the honouring ceremony, Basu signed copies of her book "Victoria and Abdul" to the attendees.
