Sharjah24: As part of the 16th edition of Al Dhaid Ramadan Holy Quran Competition, the winners participating in this Quran memorisation competition will be celebrated on Saturday evening, including various rewards and money prizes, encouraging the people to memorise the Holy Quran during the different categories of this annual competition.
Around 250 contestants from various cities in the central region of the Emirate of Sharjah have participated in Al Dhaid Ramadan Holy Quran Competition.
The committees have completed and approved the winners in its various categories.
On this occasion, His Excellency Hamid Abdullah Al-Khatiri, Vice Chairman of Al-Dhaid Club, confirmed that the club has completed its readiness to hold a ceremony to honour the participants, with various cash rewards as well as other in-kind prizes. Al-Khatiri has further highlighted the significance of the Competition in encouraging the people to memorise the Holy Quran.
He praised the efforts of the Sharjah Noble Quran and Sunnah Est, represented by the Central Region Office for its continuous cooperation.
