Ammar Rashid Alai Al Naqbi, Secretary General of the Khorfakkan Sports and Cultural Club, said that the initiative is among the annual Ramadan programmes that the club is keen on.
He added that the initiative includes several areas in the city, and the club focuses on organising it in the tourist destinations and facilities in Khorfakkan, just before Iftar, and includes the Shis and Nahwa areas of the city.
Al Naqbi pointed out that the initiative aims to encourage all segments of society to practice various types of sports during Ramadan, pointing to the promotion of the "Labaik Khorfakkan" race, which is organised by the UAE Athletics Federation in cooperation with the club, next Friday.
