The Vice-Chairman of the Academy Council, Commander-in-Chief of the Sharjah Police, Saif Al Zari Al-Shamsi sent his congratulations to the graduates of the 23rd batch of the Academy and the participants in the promotion course for lieutenants (2).
According to Al Shamsi, the academy will soon be celebrating the graduation of its 25th batch of sons of the United Arab Emirates, noting that the academy’s today’s and future accomplishments would not have been possible without the support and directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr .Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
Thirty-nine students from the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and the Union of the Comoros Republic represent the 23rd batch of student officers. They completed a four-year educational and training programme that included classes in police and legal sciences, a police applications programme, field practical and athletic training, and more.
As of the year 2022, 189 men and women from the different Sharjah Police Departments, the Academy, the Sharjah Civil Defence Authority, and the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai have enrolled in the promotion qualifying course for the rank of lieutenant (2).
The programme's goal was to prepare the participants for careers as police officers so that they could help strengthen the foundations of security and stability in the nation with their fellow officers.
