Sports and edutainment activities to mark the event, such as football, penalty kicks, soap court, tug of war and planting the Sports Day tree, were held in an atmosphere of fun and happiness.
Juma Al Shamsi, Chairman of the Al Hamriyah Cultural and Sports Club, said that the celebration of the National Sports Day comes to emphasise its importance, not only in sports, but also in strengthening the interdependence among the groups of society through the motto "The UAE Unites Us".
He thanked the Cultural and Community Committee and the Al Hamriyah Football Academy for organising the Sports Day activities, in addition to the club's employees and workers for their involvement and interaction with the activities.
