Sharjah24: The Sharjah Police won first place in the Sharjah Award for Educational Excellence for Institutions and Companies Supporting Distinguished Education.
Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, handed the award shield to Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, at the ceremony that was held this on Wednesday, at the Al Jawaher Hall for Exhibitions and Conferences.
The ceremony was attended by Dr. Saeed bin Musabah Muhammad Al Kaabi, Chairman of the Sharjah Education Council, Colonel Tariq Al Midfa, Director of the Strategy and Performance Development Department, Lieutenant Colonel Ahmed Al Marri, Director of the Community Police Department, and a number of officers in Sharjah Police .
On this occasion, Major General Al Shamsi said, “The Sharjah Police General Command was keen, through its participation in the Sharjah Award for Educational Excellence, to highlight its pioneering and constructive practices, and its sustainable initiatives in the field of supporting the educational system, and transferring the most significant fruitful experiences to work in order to serve and preserve generations".
For his part, Colonel Tariq Al-Midfa, Director of the Strategy and Performance Development Department in Sharjah Police said: This achievement will be added to the series of achievements made by the Sharjah Police, as it is one of the entities that adopt innovative pioneering models that seek to achieve ambitious goals that enhance the competitive position of the Emirate of Sharjah in all fields.
