Sharjah24: The Sharjah Police represented by the Sports and Social Activities Section of the Media and Public Relations Department, organised a package of various sporting events, which were attended by His Excellency Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, on Wednesday at the headquarters of the Sharjah Police Club.

The event was attended by Brigadier General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Deputy Commander-in-Chief, general managers, directors of departments, senior command officers, and a number of administrators and trainers of the Sharjah Police Club where the total number of participants in the event reached 40 participants.

The event started with a number of exercises aimed at enhancing the value of sportsmanship among the participants, including rope exercise, parachute running, bicycles, football, tennis, and swimming exercise in the police club pool.

The Sharjah Police General Command is keen to organize a number of various sporting events within the Police Sports Month, with the aim of maintaining the level of physical fitness of policemen, and improving their performance and security readiness as required by their job duties.
