Sharjah 24: Taif Salem Al Ketbi, Environment Educator at the Children Farm of the Environment and Protected Areas Authority (EPAA) in Sharjah, announced that the farm organises a poultry event, dealing with information about the types of poultry feathers present in the farm for visitors, in order to convey accurate information and learn about the various benefits of these animals.
The Children Farm of the Environment and Protected Areas Authority (EPAA) in Sharjah organised an event, in order to introduce the public to the types of poultry feathers. The event will continue from February 6 to February 13, from 10 am to 5 pm.
Al Ketbi confirmed in statements to "Sharjah 24", that within the event, microscopes were placed to see the feathers of all kinds accurately, in order to see the difference between the types of feathers with the eye and the microscope.
She added that the feathers vary from the thick layer to the soft layer, and differ from one bird to another.
