Sharjah24: His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al Shamaa, Director of University of Khorfakkan , affirmed the university’s keenness to introduce high school students to its academic colleges and courses through an event that attracts about 1,000 male and female students from about 20 schools in the eastern region.
Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al Shamaa stated in statements to Sharjah 24 that the event aims to attract about 1,000 male and female students from eastern schools for two days.
He added that the meeting includes introducing students to the university's colleges and academic courses, and the services provided by the university to students in various colleges, starting with registration procedures until they attend regular studies on campus.
Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al Shamaa added that the honor of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, President of the University in providing 800 scholarships to students is one of the most significant pillars in supporting the university in its first academic year.
Al Shamma explained that the university contains the Arts and Humanities, Business Administration, Sharia and Law, Information Technology, Marine Sciences and Aquatic Biology colleges.
