Sharjah24: His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, President of the University of Khorfakkan, chaired on Monday morning the University's Board of Trustees meeting.
At the beginning of the meeting, His Highness welcomed the attendees, addressing his vision for the development of University of Khorfakkan at all levels in order to be a leading academic and scientific institution in the arts, and marine sciences, stressing the need to provide an appropriate academic and training environment for students.
His Highness dealt with the role of the council in taking care of all the affairs of the university and its academic programmes and working to development its scientific and administrative fields.

During the meeting, His Highness the President of University of Khorfakkan was briefed on a number of works that have been implemented in various facilities of the university, and on the progress of work in the faculties, adopting decisions that support the progress and development of the university and meet all its needs.
His Highness listened to a number of reports on the academic performance of the university during the last period, in addition to the future plans, administrative and scientific that the university will work on, in a way that contributes to achieving the set goals.

During the meeting, His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah directed the formation of various committees at the university, namely: the Academic Committee, the Finance Committee, and the Financial Resources Committee.
Members of the Board of Trustees expressed their appreciation and gratitude to His Highness, the President of the University, for His Highness' interest and follow-up on everything related to the University.
