Al Shamma confirmed that the new university is a great addition to the university education system in Sharjah in particular, and the UAE in general, thanks to the unlimited support of Sharjah Ruler .
In an exclusive interview with "Sharjah 24", Al Shamma said:" With the start of the university's academic year, about 1,800 male and female students were registered in the various colleges of the university, including more than 500 new students" .
He explained during the interview that the university includes the faculties of Sharia and Law, Arts and Humanities, Business Administration, and the College of Marine Sciences and Aquatic Biology, which is the first of its kind. Al Shamma pointed out that the university aims to increase faculties and courses in the technology and engineering sectors, which provide the labor market with new specializations that serve the society.
The Director of University of Khorfakkan valued the directives of His Highness approving 504 scholarships in the first phase of this year, as well as His Highness’ directives to expand the university’s facilities and establish a housing complex for male and female students, and faculty members.
