Sharjah24: Sharjah Municipality signed a cooperation agreement with the Sharjah Health Authority (SHA) to enhance cooperation between the two parties to provide the best health, preventive, curative, and promotional services in Sharjah.
The agreement was signed at the headquarters of the Health Authority by Obaid Saeed Al Tunaiji, Director General of Sharjah Municipality, and Dr. Abdulaziz Saeed Al Muhairi, Chairman of the Sharjah Health Authority.
Al Tunaiji, stressed that Sharjah provides a role model for healthy cities, providing the elements for a healthy life for society according to the best international standards. Therefore the municipality was keen to strengthen the emirate's role in this field and expand the scope of its services and strategic partnerships with the concerned authorities.
He explained that under this agreement, certificates of medical fitness would be provided, along with the best health services, by conducting required medical examinations for those wishing to obtain certificates proving their medical fitness and good health for job requirements or residency renewal.
Al Muhairi stated that this agreement enhances the provision of the best services to the concerned customers and the necessary medical examinations with the essential accuracy and speed in line with the emirate's aspirations to enhance the quality of healthy life for society and provide its services digitally.
