SMs Health Safety Programme: 2,700 trainees, 1,661 establishments

Sharjah24: The Sharjah Municipality (SM) has announced the training of 2,700 trainees working in beauty salons and centres as part of the Sharjah Health Safety Programme, which was launched by the municipality in February of this year as a separate government programme with the goal of promoting public health in Sharjah and ensuring the safety of community members.

Sheikha Maha Ali Al-Mualla, Director of the Sharjah Municipality's Conformity Assessment Office, verified that the programme does, in fact, provide extensive training on proper health practises for relevant staff in barbershops and beauty centres.

As the municipality aims to enrol over 3,000 establishments in the initiative, Sheikha Maha Al-Mualla said that 1,161 enterprises have enrolled thus far.
