Al Qaseer stated that the award has created, over its successive sessions, a creative environment full of diversity, and has provided the Arab library with hundreds of poetic, fictional, nonfiction, critical and theatrical publications.
The session attracted more than 400 literary works, in a scene that indicates the importance of the competition for Arab writers. In addition, the award provides an opportunity for new creativity to rise.
The Director of the Department of Cultural Affairs in the department announced that 18 contestants from different Arab countries, in the award's six literary fields: poetry, novel, short story, theatrical text, children's literature, and literary criticism.
