Sharjah24: Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and President of the University of Sharjah, approved on Wednesday morning, the Emiratisation and employment policy at the University of Sharjah, aiming to localize jobs at the university, raise the efficiency of administrative and teaching cadres, and develop leadership programmes.

The University President approved Dr. Amina Al Marzouqi's appointment as Vice President of the University of Sharjah for Student Affairs and Branches and approved Dr. Majd Al Muhairi and Dr. Badriya Al Shehhi as the first two academics in the field of scientific research at the University.
Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed got briefed on the axes of the new policy and the stages of its implementation.
He met with Dr. Al Muhairi and Dr. Al Shehhi, the first two female academics in the field of scientific research who were appointed with the new policy of Emiratisation and employment, reviewing their successful career and achievements, praising their efforts and what they achieved and wishing them success in their work tasks.
The meeting also included presenting the researcher Fatima Mohammed Al-Khatiri, the first Emirati woman to obtain a master's degree in space and astronomy. He hailed her for her achievement and wished her prosperity in her future.
The two students, Khadija Mohammed Al Mousawi and Noura Abdullah Rajab, shared their "Exchange" programme experience with Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed, and the most important scientific and practical outputs and skills they acquired during the program.
