The honorees included Professor Hussein Al-Awadi from the Faculty of Sciences, Dr Amina Mohammed Al-Marzouqi from the Faculty of Health Sciences, Dr Arif Mohammed Aljanahi from the Faculty of Sharia and Islamic Studies, Dr Khawla Al-Najjar from the Faculty of Engineering, Dr Abdullah F Al Mutery from the Faculty of Sciences, and Dr Nadia Rashed Ali Al Mazrouei from the Faculty of Pharmacy.
The President of the University of Sharjah congratulated the honourees on their outstanding research contributions in their respective scientific domains. He emphasised that they reflect the university's prosperity and reputation in worldwide scientific forums, as distinguished scholars who have conducted prestigious research.
During his speech, he emphasised that the university will continue to provide comprehensive support, including scientific, administrative, and technical assistance, as well as create an environment conducive to faculty members' scientific experiences and the conduct of required research and studies. He stated that they act as role models for new scholars in all disciplines.
#At the end of his speech, the President of the University of Sharjah thanked and appreciated the Board of Trustees, the university administration, and the dedicated Emiratisation Committee affiliated with the Board for their support and follow-up on all matters involving Emirati professors. He stated that this encouragement motivates them to seek additional information and innovation.
Dr Muhadditha Al Hashimi, a member of the Board of Trustees and Chair of the Emiratisation Committee, presented a speech praising the university's outstanding professors. She emphasised that the committee is committed to providing Emirati academics with all types of assistance in order to encourage them to conduct additional research and make progress in this broad subject. She emphasised their considerable expertise in teaching and scientific research, as they serve as role models for their colleagues.
The Chancellor of the University of Sharjah, Humaid Majoul Al Nuaimi, expressed his satisfaction in recognising this outstanding group of Emirati academics for their scientific excellence and long-standing devotion to academic responsibilities in teaching and education. He emphasised their contributions to the establishment of university departments, laboratories, and colleges, and stated that this acknowledgment encourages them and their academic peers to focus on university teaching and scientific research for community service.
