Sharjah 24: Sharjah Islamic Bank (SIB) announced the opening of its new branch on King Faisal Street in the city of Sharjah. The SIB will relocate from its previous position on the same street to the new headquarters in order to provide enhanced customer service, including sections for serving women customers and another dedicated to men.
The new branch was inaugurated by His Excellency Mohamed Abdalla, CEO of Sharjah Islamic Bank, in the presence of His Excellency Ahmed Saad, DCEO of SIB, and Nabil Abou Alwan, Head of Retail Banking at SIB, and several heads of departments and bank managers.

Anticipating the need for growth and expansion in the current service provision sites and moving forward in the digital transformation to improve the customer experience

On this occasion, His Excellency Mohamed Abdalla, CEO of Sharjah Islamic Bank, said that the relocation of the bank's branch on King Faisal Street is part of the plan to develop its country-wide network and ensure effective, innovative banking services for personal and business customers.  

His Excellency Mohamed Abdalla added that Sharjah Islamic Bank seeks to implement a comprehensive development plan based on studied scientific foundations to anticipate growth and expansion needs in the current service provision sites. The plan includes progressing with digital transformation as fundamental to providing easy access to innovative solutions, relying on advanced and contemporary technologies. This will add value to the financial and banking services system by enabling transactions to be processed directly through smartphone applications, delivering a streamlined customer experience.

For his part, Nabil Abou Alwan, Head of Retail Banking at SIB, explained that King Faisal Street is an ideal location for the new branch as it is one of the busiest streets in Sharjah, characterised by constant movement and activity. The area contains basic facilities and services and is close to several government buildings, private sector headquarters, commercial centres, markets, retail outlets and residential buildings, which made it necessary to accommodate growing customer demand. Using the latest technology, the professional banking team aims to provide services and products to its loyal, growing customer base to improve accessibility and enhance the customer experience.

Effective and diverse communication channels 
Nabil Abou Alwan, added that Sharjah Islamic Bank provides a network of effective and diverse communication channels, welcoming customers to various regional branches and encouraging feedback.  The location is strategic and easily accessible, with sufficient parking spaces for customers' vehicles.

A network of 35 branches
The Sharjah Islamic Bank has a vast network of 35 branches at UAE. It also provides around-the-clock service through its official website and smart application for banking services, designed according to the latest digital technologies with safe solutions to fraud and risks.
