Sharjah24: Dr. Khaled Omar Al Midfa, Chairman of Sharjah Media City, has expressed the company's willingness to collaborate with the Sharjah Center for Entrepreneurship (Sheraa) and participate in the sixth annual Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival in order to network with leaders in the field of entrepreneurship, learn about new avenues for collaboration, and gain insight into the successes of small and medium-sized businesses.
As he said to Sharjah 24, the festival featured a variety of workshops and high-quality lectures on the theme of entrepreneurship, so taking part in it is a wonderful way to kick up collaborations and specialised initiatives in this area, which has seen significant growth and change in recent years.
Dr. Khalid Al Midfa remarked that the Emirate of Sharjah is packed with government and private agencies and institutions to support startups and entrepreneurship, and that events like these are beneficial to the local economy, especially considering that more than 70% of the global economy is based on the activities of small and medium enterprises.
