Sharjah24: This year, in honour of World Children's Day, the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA) hosted a two-day event in Muweilah Park in collaboration with the Sharjah Child Friendly Office (SCFO), a division of the Sharjah Supreme Council for Family Affairs (SCFA), that featured a variety of activities and workshops aimed at getting kids excited about tourism through art and design.
The Chairman of the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority, Khalid Jassim Al Midfa, said that, "We recognise the role of our partners in boosting the position of Sharjah tourism, and their support for the authority's efforts and community activities aimed at disseminating tourism information about the emirate among young people and children."

Al Midfa elaborated, "The visions of the wise leadership take into account the category of children and invest in them as the greatest investment, as they are a key pillar of the development process that will define the future of the country."

Several Sharjah-based public and private organisations and attractions collaborated on the event.
