Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Department of Statistics and Community Development (SDSCD) and the Sharjah Finance Department (SFD) visited the Sharjah Economic Development Department (SEDD) to discuss the status of several ongoing joint projects and initiatives and to strengthen existing ties of cooperation between the various emirate authorities.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Humaid Al Qasim, Chairman of the Sharjah Department of Statistics and Community Development, Sheikh Sultan bin Abdullah Al Qasimi, Director of the Department of Statistics and Community Development, and the accompanying delegation of the Department of Statistics were welcomed by Sultan Abdullah bin Hadda Al Suwaidi, Chairman of the Sharjah Economic Development Department, at the outset of the meeting.
Al Suwaidi extended a warm welcome to the delegation from the Sharjah Finance Department, affirming that their visit will help consolidate a number of existing partnerships and speed up the development process.
The meeting addressed a number of issues shared by the two delegations, such as providing integrated statistical data and modern indicators on the Emirate of Sharjah's economic performance and facilitating the process of exchanging data and information between the concerned government entities and departments, in a way that improves the levels of the statistical process and supports sustainable development strategies in the Emirate of Sharjah.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Humaid Al Qasimi emphasised the critical need for cooperative cooperation among the Emirate's various economic entities.
