Under the theme "Our shores are clean," Environment and Protected Areas Authority in Khorfakkan branch launched a campaign to clean the Pearl Beach and Port on Thursday.
Awatif Al Naqbi stated that the campaign aims to clean the beaches and bottoms of ports, with the aim of preserving the marine environment and promoting and spreading the culture of preserving it among all segments of society.
In statements to Sharjah 24, she explained that a large number of directors and representatives of government departments in Khorfakkan participated in the campaign, in addition to police and civil defense members, a number of divers and volunteers, school students, employees and workers of Bee'ah Company.
