SEWA discusses cooperation with Consulate General of Korea

Sharjah24: Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) received a delegation from the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea to discuss ways to activate joint cooperation between the authority and specialised Korean institutions and companies and to learn about best practices in the fields of energy, water, sustainability, environmental preservation and innovation.
His Excellency Abdullah Abdul Rahman Al Shamsi, Executive Director of SEWA, welcomed the Korean delegation headed by Moon Byung Jun, Consul-General of the Republic of South Korea, stressing the authority's keenness to consolidate cooperation and joint work with Korean institutions, and reviewed a number of the authority's strategy and projects.

During the meeting, he stressed that the authority, with the support of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, is looking forward to providing services according to the best specifications and preparing and developing a future strategy for energy and water projects in the Emirate of Sharjah.

He added that the authority is keen to exchange experiences and benefit from cooperation opportunities between the authority and Korean institutions and companies specialised in a number of future projects, especially in the areas of energy efficiency, reducing network losses and training technical cadres so that they are able to keep pace with development and smart transformation in providing services.

Moon Byung Jun, reviewed a number of areas and opportunities for cooperation and the application of advanced technology to achieve sustainable development and preserve the environment.
