Sharjah24: Aiming to strengthen cooperation and joint coordination in various fields that serve both parties, a delegation from the Eastern Region Police Department (ERPD) of Sharjah Police, headed by Colonel Dr Ali Al-Kai Al-Hamoudi, Director of the ERPD, visited the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Marine Transportation (AASTMT) in Khorfakkan.
Dr. Hashem Abdullah Sarhan, Director of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport received the delegation, expressing his appreciation for the visit.
In turn, Colonel Dr Ali Al-Kai Al-Hamoudi congratulated Dr. Hashem Abdullah Sarhan for the precious trust of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, as appointing him the Director of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport in the Emirate of Sharjah, wishing him success.
Colonel Al-Hamoudi also stressed the importance of such visits in enhancing areas of joint cooperation with the aim of benefiting from expertise in the field of training and development, in line with the areas of police work, expressing thanks and appreciation for holding this meeting. He has further expressed the keenness of the Sharjah Police to build bridges of cooperation with all entities and institutions, contributing in promoting partnerships that ensure the development of scopes of work.
The visiting delegation reviewed the Academy’s facilities, learning more about its modern and advanced equipment in the field of education and training.
Concluding the visit, Colonel Dr. Al-Hamoudi and Dr. Hashem Abdullah Sarhan exchanged shields, wishing for continued close cooperation between the Eastern Region Police Department and the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Marine Transportation (AASTMT).
