Sharjah Ruler receives President of American University in Cairo

His Highness inaugurated the meeting by extending a warm welcome to the president of the American University in Cairo, outlining their strong relationship with the Arab Republic of Egypt as His Highness has benefited from Egypt's sciences and knowledge.
His Highness pointed to Egypt's numerous cities, which show civilization, uniqueness, legacy, and the rich history that went through it, as well as the rich cultural and archaeological heritage that it holds.

The discussion covered a wide range of topics shared by the two universities, including the scientific, academic, and research fields, as well as ways to further their long-standing fields of collaboration.
The meeting also covered ideas for improving future collaboration and utilizing from the combined knowledge of the two universities, which will continue the improvement of  the educational system among the international universities . 
At the end of the meeting, His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah exchanged shields and souvenirs with the President of the American University in Cairo.
