Sharjah Ruler inaugurates Victoria Int'l School in Khorfakkan

Sharjah24: His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, inaugurated on Monday morning the Victoria International School in Khorfakkan in Al Hari area.
Upon his arrival at the school site, His Highness unveiled the memorial plaque to mark the official inauguration of the school, which was established within the directives of His Highness and his insightful vision, to complete and create a quality education environment and provide it to all regions in the Emirate of Sharjah. 
His Highness toured the school building and its sections, including kindergarten, first grade, and the first classes of basic education, in addition to the various educational arenas, the theater and other special facilities.
During the tour, His Highness was briefed on the classrooms and various facilities that are included in the departments, comprising various classrooms, extracurricular activities, sports and entertainment and others.
His Highness stopped at the kindergarten building, where he was briefed on the building's various facilities that facilitate and develop the education process.
His Highness continued the tour of the school, where he was briefed on the school's theater, inspecting the available modern equipment, which contributes to practicing various activities.
During his tour, His Highness exchanged conversations with school's teachers while they were teaching students in classes.
At the end of the tour, His Highness was briefed on the engineering plans for the different stages of the expansion of the Victoria International School project in Khorfakkan, in which the project will be completed for all stages of education.
The inauguration was attended by Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud Al Qasimi, Head of the Central Finance Department;  Sheikh Saud bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, CEO of the Real Estate Sector in Sharjah Asset Management;  Engineer Ali bin Shaheen Al Suwaidi, Head of the Public Works Department;  Muhammad Obaid Al Zaabi, Head of the Protocol Department; Dr. Muhadda Al Hashimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Private Education Authority, a number of officials in the education sector, and a number of notables in the region and workers.
