Sharjah Parents Council celebrates Flag Day

Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Parents Council joined the UAE institutions, at 11 AM, Thursday, November 3, in celebrating the Flag Day- the symbol of unity and source of pride. The celebration is to renew covenant by safeguarding the UAE flag and raising it high in the sky of glory.
Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al Mualla, Chairman of the Council, raised the flag of the UAE at the entrance of the Council’s headquarters to the tune of the UAE national anthem, in the presence of a delegation from Wasit Comprehensive Police Station, heads of research committees, studies, events, activities and administrative services in the Council, and students of some government schools in the Emirate of Sharjah.

Speaking at the event, Al Mualla said: The celebration of Flag Day on the third of November is a consolidation of the highest meanings of cohesion and solidarity between the wise leadership and the people of the Emirates, and a firm embodiment of the highest feelings of national unity and pride in the soil of the beloved land, and on this national occasion, which highlights the meanings of belonging to the dear UAE, we renew our determination to continue the process of work, giving and unifying energies for the sake of the nation's elevation and progress, and for the UAE flag to remain high among the nations.”

Al Mualla congratulated the wise leadership represented by President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and his brothers, the Rulers of the Emirates, on the occasion of the Flag Day.
