Sharjah 24: In line with the goal of the Emirate of Sharjah to get children and young people qualified in the field of programming, the Rubu' Qarn Foundation for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators held a closing ceremony for "The Programmer of the Century" project on "Programmer's Day," October 29, 2022, at the Sharjah Research, Technology, and Innovation Park. The theme of the ceremony was "The UAE is programming," and 127 graduates were honoured.
The winners of the project's final competition, themed "We Create a Better Tomorrow," were unveiled. The goal of the competition was to get young people interested in technical education and to use technology to solve problems in the real world.

During the closing ceremony, 46 different projects were shown. Each one had made a unique contribution to finding solutions to problems that different groups of people face.

At the end of the event, Jassim Al Balushi, a member of the Board of Trustees for the Rubu' Qarn Foundation, remarked, "This programme is the start of a plan set out to strengthen the skills of Rubu' Qarn Foundation members in the scientific and technical route. We're proud that our heroes are taking part in contests both at home and abroad, and we wish to improve the chances for participants in such programmes to help them invest in their programming careers."
