Sharjah 24: Hayawa Suburb Council (HSC) of the Sharjah Districts and Villages Affairs Department (SDVAD) in Khorfakkan discussed various vital issues and projects related to the work of the Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority (SRTA) and its projects, in line with its objectives to raise all road networks and continue infrastructure work in the city.
This came during the meeting of the Suburb Council at its headquarters in Khorfakkan, during which Khaled Ahmed Buhandi, Chairman of Hayawa Suburb Council and members of the Council received Engineer Yousef Khamis Al-Othmani, member of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah and Chairman of the Sharjah Roads and Transportation Authority.
The Chairman of Hayawa Suburb Council has expressed pleasure with the SRTA’s meeting, stressing the importance of holding such meetings, which reflect the Council’s commitment to promoting integrating efforts with the relevant authorities to improve various aspects of life, aiming to achieve common goals in the service of the community.
In turn, Eng. Yousef Khamis Al-Othmani stressed the importance of meeting with Hayawa Suburb Council, emphasising that the meeting integrates roles to accomplish the road projects.
The attendees discussed a number of topics on the meeting's agenda, reviewing the people’s needs regarding the internal roads.
The Authority discussed various future plans for the completion of roads within the framework of the interest that His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
