Sharjah24: As part of an initiative, the Family Development Department & Branches (FDD), one of the institutions of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah, represented by the Al Wusta branch, organised a discussion panel on digital etiquette, aiming at developing the family education and promoting security awareness among social media users, in the presence of Major General Rashid Al-Mahyan, Chairman of the Parents Council in Al-Dhaid, and Captain Khaled bin Howaiden, Director of the Community Police Department in the Central Region.
The “Let’s Talk” initiative, with about 16 panel discussions, benefited 860 individuals, highlighting various axes, focusing on the Emirati values in the digital world; the harmful impact of rumors in society; cyber-extortion threats, and the importance of the family's role in promoting positive digital behavior.
At the end of the discussion, a personal experience was presented from the experiences of the youth of Al Dhaid in the central region.
