Sharjah 24: Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, visited the Sharjah Old Cars Club’s (SOCC) pavilion participating in the Auto Moto Show 2022, which started Friday at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) and runs until October 9.
During the visit, Sheikh Nahyan was briefed on the cars participating in the club’s pavilion, which dated back to the beginning of the last century. He hailed the level of participation and support the club receives from His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, praising the efforts of the work team in this exceptional participation.
The participation of the Sharjah Old Cars Club in the first edition of the “Auto Moto Show” aims to promote its activities and services and the culture of old motorsports by attracting those interested in this sport and building integrated partnerships.
Dr. Ali Ahmed Abu Al-Zoud, Chairman of the Sharjah Old Cars Club, said, “Our participation in this exhibition is in line with the club’s strategy to support our vision through which we aspire to be one of the leading institutions in the field of old motorsports by participating in specialised events and exhibitions, and we are keen to be distinguished both locally and internationally, by mobilising all energies and harnessing all possibilities to participate in a manner that befits the reputation and prestige of the Emirate of Sharjah and the support it provides for all sports activities under the constant supervision of the Sharjah Sports Council.”
